Having Nolo in my life i have had a chance to explore this thing called love.
We went through a period of some strange not seeing one another recently and I felt like she didn't want me and was avoiding me or something. Then on Tuesday, during Izingane Zobaba, the SABC 1 adaptation of Shakespeare I think, Othello, I was chatting to Precious and she told me shes witting a poem by Shakespeare:let me not to the marriage of true minds. She like, or was it Loves the poem. Apparently Shakespeare hit the nail on the head when it comes to love. I was in a rather foul mood and felt like arguing with her so I did.
The argument made me think what is love? I wanna think I love someone, or some people right now but then What is this love thing.
Every time I ask someone what love is i am told vague answers that don't really tell me what it is exactly or I get a variation of some of the things that shakespeare said in that poem. I think of a few things I heard like: you can't be told what love is you must just experience it for yourself, or love is forever never changing and many things that to me sound like excuses to hide the real truth.
LOVE IS FEAR
Now this is true if humans are evolving, Darwin sort of. I will say it like this a Deity created everything and then allowed it to run on its own. Hopefully that does not offend anyone.
Humans are very social creatures and this is a defense mechanism, strength in numbers. Now the fear of moving away from each other and getting eaten made people develop Love among other things. You can not leave people you love because love is forever, you must take care of those you love because love does not change I can only think of that right now but hopefully you get the point. Love evolved with humans and basically guaranteed that humans would take care of their young and their elderly so that teaching can be imparted and humans can survive longer.
But then maybe because humans love the above happens, take care if the young and elderly and stay with someone forever and seeing this pattern made people like Shakespeare write poems love by many and thus Shakespeare was just an opportunist looking for the attention as all humans do, looking for fame.
if this is not true and anyone can prove it, I will delete this post*
